The Lucky Charm of the Spring

The Lucky Charm of the Spring

A lone, stray mustard plant

grows and stands tall,

blooming bindaas (carefree)

among the giant

cauliflower leaves.

Hardly a match, truly,

but nevertheless,

each seems enjoying

the company of the other.

That’s what we call

‘Unity in diversity’.

The very mantra of harmony,

peace and happiness!

Augurs well, doesn’t it?

And yes,

O, the miniature one!

The spring yellow beauty!

The lucky charm of the spring!

Your very presence announces –

‘The spring is not far behind!’

‘The spring is just round the corner!’
