य एनं वेत्ति हन्तारं यश्चैनं मन्यते हतम्।
उभौ तौ न विजानीतो नायं हन्ति न हन्यते॥ 2.19
Anyone, who believes this soul to be a killer, and the one who takes it as dead – both are ignorant who don’t really know that this soul neither kills anyone nor is it killed by any person.
[Thus, says Krishna to Arjuna, that it’s a misconception that you are killing anybody or anyone is being killed by you, so go ahead and fight.]
