The sun has just
taken the plunge,
leaving the horizon
aglow with an awesome
golden tinge.
Green trees have gradually
turned darker, virtually silhouettes,
awaiting the night
to tiptoe and take them
into its cool embrace.
The twinkling stars would
no wonder,
blink with glee
at the curious nocturnal scene.
